The Eururalis project was initiated by the Working Group Sustainable Development and Systems Innovation (Wageningen University and Research, The Netherlands) and was commissioned by the Dutch Ministry of Agriculture, Nature and Food quality.
The Eururalis 1.0 project started in October 2003 and finished in October, 2004.

Currently the Eururalis 2.0 project is carried out. The institutes that are involved in this project are:

• Alterra, Research Institute for the Green Space, Wageningen University and Research, The Netherlands
• Land Dynamics group, Wageningen University, The Netherlands
• Environmental Assessment Agency - PBL Bilthoven, The Netherlands
• Agricultural Economics Institute (LEI), The Hague, The Netherlands
• Institute for Environmental Studies (IVM), VU University, Amsterdam, The Netherlands

The project has two advisory groups:

• a Policy Advisory Group, with a few few policy makers from the Dutch Ministry of Agriculture, Nature and Food quality
• a Scientific Advisory Group with international input from experts from Poland and France

In 2007 and 2008 Eururalis will be elaborated together with international institutes. Several contacts have been made and currently project proposals are in progress. If you want to cooperate or use Eururalis please contact us!
